How to Read a Book in 10-minutes

Who has time to read? Next time, try this method to get the gist of most books in 10-minutes or less:

  • First, read the entire table of contents. Get a sense of the structure and flow of the book.

  • Then, read the last paragraph or two of each chapter. The author usually summarizes the main points there.

You should get a good sense of the book and can dive deeper into the chapters that were the most compelling. Of course, this only works with non-fiction, but that’s 90% of my reads anyhow.

Ok, guys, now it’s your turn...what’s the best book you’ve read in the past year? #career #selfdevelopment
