Every day doesn’t have to be the same

One trap I see moms fall into is an all-or-nothing mentality: ‘I don’t want to go to bed at 8:30 pm because I’ll never have any time for myself.’ Or ‘I need to hop back on every night to make up for the missed time during the day.’

Today’s tip: Every day doesn’t have to be the same. Getting a bit of a weekly routine could help provide the breaks you need. Here are some examples:

  • Go to bed early one night, so you can wake up super early for me-time or crunch out uninterrupted work.

  • Put your laptop away at 5 pm one night, so you have a night of self-care or date night with your partner.

  • Work late (even through dinner) one night, to give yourself more flexibility for the rest of the week.

Especially during this crazy time, mix it up.
